According to Bloomberg, the private equity group Blackstone and Reliance Communications have asked banks led by Citigroup and UBS to lend almost $15 billion to fund the buyout. The borrowing would be the biggest ever for a leveraged buyout in Asia, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
