• The enforcement action required will depend upon the severity of the breach, the number of previous breaches that have been committed and the nature of the electronic monitoring requirement. The person may be returned to court or custody if deemed necessary but any decision on enforcement will be made on a case by case basis. • For example, if a person is on licence and has committed a minor breach, he may receive a warning letter from the Probation Board. If the breach is considered to be more serious, the offender may be recalled to prison.
