Hello, I have two babies in a breeder tank. One is a Central American Slider and the other is a Painted turtle. Generally, they get along well. At times, the painted turtle will pursue the Slider and put one leg on it. The painted will sleep on top of the Slider and often insists on being right next to it. The painted often basks with the Slider but I have seen it even put a leg on the Slider as it was boarding the perch. Is the painted showing affection or aggression.
