The XR16C850 and XR16C864 uses the OP1# output as the Auto RS485 control output. In addition to using the RTS# output as the Auto RS485 control output, the XR16L784x, XR16V79x, XR17C15x, XR17D15x and XR17V25x can use the DTR# output as the Auto RS485 control output.
