I have a 98 FWD audi a4 avante and notice that the passenger side rear wheel is slightly bent outward, it drive nice but is a little sloppy on choppy road. What are my repair options, cost estimates, likely conditions, and can I do it myself. I have plenty of tools and a place to park it indoors for a few day if need be. A: Theres really no rear axle. The hub is just mounted to the suspension. If it were me, I would look for something thats bent or worn. As far as doing things yourself, the rear end on these cars are really simple, should be a breeze if you can find whats busted. Also, might be a bent wheel.
