There is no one single solution. Some judges in prototype courts are electronically signing or editing proposed orders by cutting and pasting from the PDF document. Judges may ask parties to send documents directly to chambers or a designated individual on the court staff via email or on a diskette delivered to the clerk’s office. The judge can edit the proposed order, if necessary, or simply concur with the proposed order, save it as a PDF document and enter it on the docket. Experience may identify other solutions.
