At this moment the plan is to take a flight leaving BWI around 6 a.m. With this early flight we could arrive in Costa Rica before noon, giving us time to rest and be on time for the afternoon excursion/Mass. The May Mount trip is departing BWI on May 24: CO 527 leaving BWI at 6:00 a.m. connecting in Houston CO 1528 leaving Houston at 9:15 a.m. arriving in Costa Rica at 11:55 a.m. Returning flights on June 3: CO 1490 leaving San Jose, Costa Rica at 12:45 p.m. connecting in Houston CO 426 leaving Houston at 6:45 p.m. arriving at BWI at 10:49 p.m. Strongly recommended: Stay the night before in one of the hotels at the airport. Many of them have “park and fly” for up to 10 days (Best Western, Sleep Inn); others for up to seven days, with the rest at $5 per night (Four Points by Sheraton). The night before will be a Friday, and you will receive the “weekend rate”. The hotel shuttle service will take you to and from the airport.
