At what age does a child usually start to lose their baby teeth?

I have two boys, and my first lost his first tooth when he was 7. My second son lost his first tooth two days before his 8th birthday and now has another one loose a month later. It all depends on the child. My nephew lost his 1st one at 4 years old! My dentist told me that the longer they have their baby teeth, the better. They learn how to brush better as they get older and hopefully take better care of them. If you’re concerned, check with your dentist. They do regular x-rays anyway and can tell you where the “adult” teeth are in the x-ray.

Between six and seven for the front teeth. They will lose the jaw teeth off and on from eight to ten.

Usually 5 or 6 years old but some not until 7. I didn’t lose my first tooth until 7 and I was one of the last kids in my class to start losing teeth.

My granddaughter is six and her front one is loose. Her father didn’t lose one until he was 7.
