At what age does a baby begin to sit up on their own??

0

Anywhere from 6 to 8 months. The baby will sit up when she/he is developmentally ready. Same with creeping, crawling, standing, walking, and talking. There’s an average age, but that’s only because of statistical analysis, there’s no set time for any of that. However, if your baby hasn’t reached certain developmental milestones by certain ages, it’s time for investigation. That’s one reason frequent pediatric check-ups are usually in order for babies that first year. The other reason is for innoculations and charting growth, the closing of the fontanels on the head, etc. But, the baby’s time frame is all his/her own and not to worry about it if it doesn’t match up with the book you’re reading or manual somebody gave you, or advice someone has given you. Relax, enjoy your baby, and be sure to visit the pediatrician or well-baby clinic at regularly scheduled intervals.
