At what age can a child learn to ski?
Kinderhut’s Children’s Ski School provides beginner ski instruction for children 2½ to 6 years of age. Kinderhut is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, and offers progressive instruction in balancing, stopping and turning. We strongly encourage, however do not force, all children to ski and our goal is to provide a fun and challenging program so that every child has a positive first experience on skis. Our ski school staff receives training in child development, ski instruction, First Aid and CPR. In addition, as part of our childcare license, each staff undergoes background screening. While we encourage all children who are 2½ and older to ski, we also have fun indoor alternatives for children that are tired, cold or, for whatever reason, choose not to ski the entire lesson time. For children who choose not to ski, Kinderhut provides a variety of supervised indoor activities including arts and crafts, games, puzzles and more. so I gue
