At what age are poodles fully vaccinated?
Puppies go through a series of vaccinations just like babies get their immunizations. Your puppy should get his or her first vaccinations at 6-8 weeks of age. Vaccinations then continue every 3-4 weeks until they are 16 weeks old. Once they reach 16 weeks and have received a series of at least 3-4 vaccinations, your puppy can be taken out into public areas without concern. Until this time, do not take your puppy anywhere in the public that an ill dog might have been (i.e., public parks, pet stores, the floor at the veterinarian clinic).
