At its first use “Dolphin” solution could not go out of the second half of the nose, but poured off from the same side, for which the lavage was performed. Why did it happen that way?

This might have happened due to two reasons: The nasal douche technique was wrongly applied (e.g. the cup of the bottle was not clasped tightly enough to the nostril, and that is why the solution went off from the same nostril; or you might have not applied enough power to make the stream go into the nasopharynx, from where it was supposed to reach the other nostril). There were some obstacles for the stream within the nasal cavity (too many polyps, acute deformation of the nasal septum, etc.
