Astrologers or those who know when Mercury went retrograde in 1977.?
Mercury was retrograde during the following periods during 1977. Jan 1 – Jan 18 April 21 – May 14 Aug 23 – Sept 15 Dec 13 through the end of the year. If you need to know for sure, you’ll have to have a chart done. A chart requires the date, place and time of day of your birth. Mercury does not go retrograde at the same times every year. Therefore if you have difficult times around your birthday it is unlikely to be related to Mercury Rx periods. It is more likely to be associated with the Sun, but every year is a bit much. Maybe you just find aging difficult? If I were to generalize about Mercury Rx in natal charts I’d say it seems to be associated with people who have a hard time seeing others’ viewpoints and/or people who are often misunderstood by others, but that will not apply to everyone with Mercury retrograde.
