Assuming the Bible is accurate, why isn God in our physical presence like with Adam and Eve?
The first thing you have to be careful with is ascribing to every case of communication with God and a person in the Bible some vivid, sensory perception of some kind. Many times God spoke to people in the Bible it is the very same kind of experience that we have each day. They were deeply impressed by God, but they had learned to discern it. So first, I want to make sure that we don’t ascribe every case where God speaks to someone in the Old Testament as involving some sensory perception or overt manifestation of some kind.
