The benefit of MI Paste is that it promotes remineralization due to the calcium. MI Paste is the only product that gives the correct bio-available ratio of calcium, phosphate and fluoride for ultimate enamel remineralization/ strengthening. If the office is applying the CariFree Fluoride Varnish, Dr. Walsh suggested waiting 24-48 hours before applying MI Paste.
