If your business would be negatively impacted then you should plan for a software upgrade to remain on the most current release level. Q: What if we skip an upgrade? A: Sage Software supports the current version and one prior release. The decision to remain on an older unsupported version is entirely up to you based upon the amount of risk you are willing to assume. Q: We are not on Sage Basic Software maintenance – can you still upgrade our software? A: We can upgrade your Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 software to the most current release level sent to you by Sage Software. Q: Are all of the bugs out of the software? A: Computer software of all types contains a certain number of programming errors (aka Bugs). Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 software is no different than any other accounting system. We will determine optimum time to install upgrades based on feedback from other early adopters (aka Guinea Pigs) and feedback from other Consultants who have installed the upgrade early (aka Pioneers).
