Aside from paying a fine and court costs, what other sanctions can be imposed?
As of January 1, 2004, Ohio law allows courts to impose, in addition to fines and court costs, restitution (reparation for damages or injuries incurred) and reimbursements to the victim that you are required to pay. Also, in place of all or part of a fine for a minor misdemeanor, a court may impose up to 30 hours of community service.
