As they get older, s there a way to fix a crack or split at the top of my shoes or clogs?
Several customers have suggested that they’ve fixed their splits or crack using the following method but we’ve personally not done it to know if it works and for how long. For some shoes it works great, for others, it doesn’t and we don’t know why. At Wal Mart in their auto section (or any auto supply store), they have a vinyl car seat repair patch kit. It comes with a patch, some glue, and a set of paints. You’ll only need the patch and glue. Clean the shoes and let them dry. Brush out the crack for any dirt or lint. Cut a patch longer and wider then the crack, making sure to leave enough room to loop over the top of the shoes and onto the front a little. Using the glue that comes with the kit, gently open the crack and put a bead of glue on one side then seal up the crack again. Let dry. Following the instructions, adhere the patch on the UNDERSIDE of the shoes then flip it up and over the top ledge and a little farther down on the front. This is to give added protection. Let it dry
