As the Security Device is vital for online@hsbc, is there any other ways for customer to request a Security Device sent to their addresses by registered mail or courier, which will be regarded as more secured postage delivery?
There is no security risk of someone stealing, or losing, the Security Device until it has been activated. To falsely activate your Security Device, a stranger would have to have your UserID, password. If you suspect that this information may have been accidentally disclosed, we recommend that you immediately change your password through PIB. As the mailing of the Security Device poses no risk, all Security Devices will be mailed via regular mail.
