As a woman, I am sensitive to the use of Son and man throughout The Urantia Book. Do these terms pertain to both male and female humans?

If readers initially give the book more than a cursory look and begin to actually pay attention to its presentation, logic, and the fragrance of truth it emits they change from readers to become students of the revelation, a self-appointed designation that frequently lasts a lifetime. Through study, students of the book have had their initial doubts put to rest and accept the book at face value, that it is what it claims to be, the fifth epochal revelation of truth to the world; backgrounds, trainings, and predispositions becoming less meaningful as perception is augmented through this study.
