• IMPORTANT: Security at the Canada-U.S. border has been heightened and identification is closely monitored. U.S. citizens will be required to show a current passport or a birth certificate and government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver’s license) when crossing the Canada-U.S. border by land. • Non-U.S. citizens should check with their travel agents as to what documentation (passport, visa, etc.) will be required for entry to the U.S. and Canada. At this point however, we strongly urge any candidates traveling by air to secure a passport. • Anyone flying into the United States (e.g., to Detroit, MI) will require a valid passport (this includes Canadians). • We will post any further updates we receive regarding travel requirements on this page. Please check back for more information or call the SSFA Assistant Director at 519-253-3000 Ext. 3143.
