as a specialty?
There is such an art to bird photography. Birds are beautiful, fast, full of action, extremely animated, full of personality, challenging as all get out, and the most rewarding photography I do. I not only enjoy bird photography, but bird behavior and action photography is even more my niche as a photographer. Talk about narrowing it down! Well, I really have Ernie Mastroianni, the editor at Birder’s World Magazine, to thank for finding my niche as an action bird photographer. I sent off a submission to Ernie, in hopes of being added the photo “wants” list. In my first submission I was encouraged by Ernie to pursue a natural gift and passion for behavior and action shots of birds. I was also encouraged to go out and photograph more species and submit again. I did my homework and was ecstatic to be added to the list of very well known National and International bird photographers that receive this list.
