As a Special Academic Programs participant, how am I different from other international students?

0

Special Academic Programs students are different from international students in that special academic program students have pre-selected courses. The Special Academic Programs have chosen the pre-selected course model in order to reduce the cost of the program. Special Academic Program students pay a drastically reduced tuition as part of their program fee, rather than paying the far more expensive out-of-state tuition rates other international students pay. Special Academic Programs students will have the same access to events and programs run by the Center for Global Engagement as international students. However, the Center for Global Engagement staff may offer some unique trips or events open only to Special Academic Program students.
