As a Photographer and Artist, I am particularly concerned about the expense and security of printing and sending my high-quality, original work to any company. What can be done about that?

A realistic and understandable concern. Different companies take different approaches to art and photo submissions, but virtually all are sensitive to your concerns and specific about your protections and theirs. Most of them specifically request that you DO NOT send originals but recommend representative copies, JPEGS, digital CDs, E-mail, or even tear sheets of published work, if you have any, which represent your style(s). NAC tells you the specific recommendations, preferences and directions of each Greeting Card Company so you know all their details upfront.
