As a Family and Group Childcare provider what documentation is considered proof of caring for children?
Proof of care includes documentation that indicates that you are currently providing care for children other than your own as a home childcare provider. Documentation may include a) copies of checks received for payment of services rendered b) copies of cash receipts or c) a copy of IDHS Child Care Assistance Program certificate for month prior to your renewal month. Proof of care is required for every 6-month renewal period.
