As a contest log checker, I would like to build the master call sign database for use with WT4I Log Checker. How easy is this with Master Call?
Building a contest specific Master.cal file is incredibly easy with Master Call. The Master Call tool allows the user to select entire directories of Cabrillo format logs at one time. Simply select “Load Logs” from the File menu, Navigate to the appropriate directory, select the first log in the directory, scroll to the last log in the directory, left-click on the last log in the directory, and then select “open.” All the call signs from the logs will be loaded into the program. Using the count filters built into Master Call, the user can then select the appropriate filter to “check-mark” the call signs to be included in the master call sign file.
