As a CME faculty member, how do I design EB CME?
As with any CME activity, educational need drives content design. For an activity to be considered evidence-based, the faculty presenter researches the topic identified as an educational need in an EBM source of information. Based on those findings, the faculty member designs educational content that addresses that educational need, satisfies the learning objectives developed for the activity and includes evidence-based practice recommendations. In addition, the faculty presenter must provide physician learners specific information about the evidence cited and submit supporting documentation with the application for EB CME.
