In order to ensure that students in Math 111 have the appropriate arithmetic computational skills, all students are required to take and pass the Arithmetic Skills Exam (ASE) during EACH semester for which they enroll in the course. This exam will test the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, integers, fractions, and decimals; rounding; the order of operations; conversions between fractions, decimals, and percents; and basic percent problems.
