1. From reading the policies and the composition of the group, I don’t think that the Advocates have the support of the Teamsters Union. There was nothing mention about any union, but who knows, they might be. 2. Yes, truckers are required by law to wear seat belts. I think that the point the Advocates were pushing for was that truckers need more and stronger seat belt restraints. Buckling up is mandatory as far as I know.
