Aren’t there more important issues at Notre Dame than a university designation?
This is only one of several priorities at Notre Dame this year. Among these priorities are continual updates in the academic program, recruiting students for all programs, and improving the campus (including groundbreaking for the new pharmacy building in May 2010). A designation change has the potential to attract attention and new students to Notre Dame, thus significantly supporting other important efforts today and tomorrow.
