Not a million but close. These websites fall basically into three categories. 1.) Vendors: Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, and Half.com are all examples of vendor website. Textbooks are listed and sold by either publishers or individual sellers. Generally they have the low prices and a comprehensive selection. 2.) Book Swaps: These are generally non-profit websites created by student organizations. The best example is CampusBookswap.com. Students are to buy and sell books to each other free of charge. 3.) Price Comparison: A great example is Pricewatch.com. Prices are gathered from vendors and listed. Textbook Union is combination of a book swap and price comparison.
