Many viewers have noticed that the details don’t always match between one episode and another. The subject even comes up on the “Smeg Ups” tape when Kryten reads the Most Asked Questions About Red Dwarf, most of which have to do with one inconsistency or another. Annette McIntosh and Damone have compiled an exhaustive list of inconsistencies and contradictions within the TV series.
