Aren’t Puerto Ricans just Mexicans living on a Caribbean island?
know not at all because mexicans are aztec indians and spanish and white and we are tatino indians spanish and arican and some might have white or just afican ancestors but the closes we are to would be dominicans and cubans not mexicans some may look mexican but not even close to being mexicans if you go to puerto rico they look more black than anything to me and some might be light but same goes for cubans and dominacans we are just like black people that can speack spanish thank you and "yes i am puerto rican and dominican and cuban but i am well good with my culture…. thank you …..
Yes, technically, but we wanted the island of Vieques for a hundred years of naval bombing range practice. Because of this we felt we had to keep the rest of the place too, even though it’s cost us more than any single state to do so. Sure they speak Spanish, earn minimum wage (when they admit to earning anything above board), collect billions in welfare and food stamps, refuse to answer the telephone and generally make a mockery of all beliefs generally held as American, it doesn’t mean they aren’t just like us. After all, aren’t these things exactly what the Mexicans we’d like to take under our American wings do best?
