Aren places like iTunes mostly geared towards teenagers and pop music?
While it certainly appears that way, and there is no question that is the bulk of the market this is no different than regular old music selling. What is different is the medium and for those people that want it now, or want only parts of discs, or are no longer interested in having hard copies of discs they are buying music this way. Certainly the American Songbook will sell the best (even versions no longer recognizable as such, as long as they have that name) but in our real world testing, even the way out and unknown tunes can and do sell.
