Aren all stun guns Tasers?
No, Taser is just a popular brand of stun gun. There are many manufacturers now making similar models at great pricing with comparable quality. See our Stun Master or Z-Force series for just such models. Great reliability and quality without the “designer” label. There is also one feature difference for most stun guns verses a Taser. A Taser is going to come with a cartrige that you fire at your attacker. It shoots out metal tacks about 15-20 feet that stay conected to the gun by wire. This wire allows a prolonged current to continue from the gun to the attacker. Thus keeping them disabled for a much longer period of time. It also has contacts on the end of the gun to shock a second person in close contact. So there are two ways of using a Taser vs Stun gun. Hmmm, now that I put on paper, it may be worth the extra cost.
