Aren all Splash Arabians deaf?
NO! While other breeds have had the splash gene possibly linked to deafness, there has been no evidence of deafness in our bloodlines. The stallion our program is based on: Moonlight Money Maker (MMM) is not deaf, nor were his sire (Blaz-ons Bandit) or grand-sire (The Boogeyman) who were both blue eyed black splash. All of our splash Arabian foals have been fine, none have been deaf. MMM’s first splash grand-daughter STM Eureka, born 2007, is also not deaf.
