Aren t off-the-shelf minerals ok?
Metallic minerals are found in such items as egg shell, oyster shell, lime stone, dolomite, mineral salt, sea water, mineral oxides (i.e. – iron oxide, copper oxide, etc.), vortex waters, sea bed minerals, “soils”, sea bed clays and clays, “rock flours” and various antacids. Typically metallic minerals are found in tablets and powders such as gluconate, lactate, sulfates, carbonates and oxides (iron oxide = rust). Despite claims to the contrary, metallic minerals are only eight to 12% biologically available to animals and humans. Furthermore, after we pass the age of about 35 to 40, bio-availability of metallic minerals in humans usually drops to about five percent, due to a deteriorating HCl (hydrochloric) balance in older people. So, normal off-the-shelf minerals are not good enough!
