Are young people confused between the Bible resurrection and the reincarnation of other religions?
I think this is a distinct possibility – Today many young people have now idea about the Good News contained in the Gospel Message set out by the first century Christians. Many think that by calling themselves Christian they will have a place in heaven. The fact that heaven going is a myth the Catholic church has invented is certainly not understood. In schools today children are taught comparative religions and it would seem reasonable that some of them may possibly confuse resurrection and reincarnation. Resurrection is – in Christian belief, the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead after his crucifixion and entombment. This resurrection is then the hope of the Christianity, Judaism, and Islam faiths, the rising of the dead around Judgment Day when Jesus returns to earth to establish God’s kingdom on earth.
