Are you trying to remove the generator armature? If so, Coleman sells a removal tool that consists of another long(er) bolt than the one you removed. The armature itself is tapered as well as the engine crankshaft…this makes a very tight mounting connection. Anyhow, you install the longer bolt from the armature removal kit and hit is with a big hammer. The hammer impact knocks the armature off the tapered crankshaft. Does this help?
