Are you sure the wire sizeis large enough to allow 40Amps (size: AWG#18 )?
Size ofa cable for certain voltage and current is established according to the American Wire Gauge Association (AWG) standards. The cablesize providedfor the connections on the managercan tolerate 40 amps of energy as long as this cable is no more than 3 feet long. Cables on the manager are 1 foot long for easy wiring connections. You may cut the excess length when installing.
