It does not work like that. You begin with total ignorance (baby) and a huge dose of free will (two year old). You must learn to reconcile your free will with the laws and customs (as a schooler, an adult). You can work to change some things. You can pay penalties here and now, hereafter. If you ascend to the next sphere it is because mercy is never exhausted for those who are making progress. On progressively higher spheres the opportuniity may arise to review your previous progress individually or perhaps as part of some group (maybe one higher than mere earthlings….). [judging oneself is a worthy skill] How to become merciful, compassionate, loving and wise? One day you will stand before God. If so, it will be Your Perfect Day, because you will have achieved the chief goal: to “become perfect, as your heavenly Father.” Instead of condemning, He will receive you with Great Honor (on Paradise, in fact, higher than the Central Eternal Heaven.
