Adam: Us two are Jim Suttle engineers. She has a train whistle. What does Matthew do? Jessica: Matthew works at Rosenblatt and blows glass Hot Shops. Adam: He gives us our artistic cred. What do you find yourself writing about in your songs? Jessica: I guess my relationships with other people and seeing my friends go through other relationships. The last song I wrote was about a book I read, “The Giver.” I loved it as a teenager and I re-read it again. Nathan: It’s so good. If you could open for any band who you it be? Jessica: Jenny Lewis. Nathan: I would like to open for Jupiter Sunrise. Adam: Kings of Leon four years ago. Who are some of your influences? Jessica: I would say Emerson Hart, Missy Higgins and Chris Koza. Nathan: As a bass player my influences are John Paul Jones, but John Entwistle is the ultimate to obtain because he was so fast and furious, but he was still so quiet in the background.
