are you going to capitalise on it and bring in a hoard of new fresh faces?
“Yes, I am going to bring in some new faces, but we do have quite a big cast and I don’t want to under serve them by any means. My focus is about the future of the show using the brilliant cast we have to its best potential. Any character that comes in will be looked upon in the same way as part of the bigger picture of the programme.”Is there a time where you have to say that the old cast should maybe begin to simmer on the back burner?”Yes. You have to weigh up whether the cast that you have can deliver the tone for the show you’re wanting, and I think that a lot of them can. But then you bring in some new players in alongside them and shoot the show forward on there. Hopefully in a year’s time, you’ll look at the programme and it’ll feel ‘tighter’ than it is at the moment.”I hear you’re bringing a new bitch to the Dales, Anna De Souza…”Yeah I’m really excited about her. She’s very much harping back to the history of the show. I don’t think you could ever get another Kim Tate. What
