Are you getting a lot of comparisons to Coal Chamber and / or Korn?
Tommy: I haven’t really heard any comparisons to Coal Chamber. Um, if there have been any comparisons to Korn, I think it’s probably only because they kind of paved a new way for themselves, and if a newer band has the same kind of… even the same little stitch of sound, someone might say . . . they might liken it to Korn, only because people are perpetually . . . they constantly need something to compare something to. So, other than that, I don’t think that the comparisons to Korn and Coal Chamber actually exist anyway, other than the fact that we may have the same genre of fans. We like Korn a lot. We listen to Korn all the time, so I’m sure they influence our music, you know, a little bit, but I wouldn’t say that we sound like them, necessarily. What sort of advice do you have for independent bands today? You’ve kind of been a really cool indie success story of how your band did it yourself. What kind of advice would you have?
