My wife and I went to Bali 2 years ago. It is really nice. Beautiful beaches and tropical weather. The tourist spots are nice but we didn’t visit the whole island. People are friendly but a bit aggressive in trying to get you to use them as guide or taxi driver. Obviously, natives are poor in general but it is very safe.
