Are you doing anything spiritual to celebrate Samhain?
I’ll be observing the Days of the Dead. So I’ve been busy creating decorations and cooking already these past several weeks. I will set up an ofrenda to welcome and honor the spirits that will visit. I will burn copal, and write poetry on the subject of mortality and the dead. I will light candles to honor the spirits and show them the way home, and I will gather with friends and family to feast and sing and remember our passed loved ones. It is a very spiritual time for me, even doing the art and cooking, because my mind is focused on mortality.
