Were you accepted into Psychology Arts or Atkinson in 2006, but then transferred to the Faculty of Health, and you wonder how will this affect your degree requirements ? On July 1, 2006, York University created a new Faculty of Health. The Psychology program in the Faculty of Arts and Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Studies merged into one department in the Faculty of Health. For the 2006 – 2007 academic year students who were accepted into either Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science & Engineering or the Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Studies followed the degree requirements of the Faculty they were initially accepted into.
