I hate seeing people throw their lives away due to drug and or alcohol abuse. I especially hate when parents subject their children to such a life style and the people that stand by and watch are just as much to blame as the addict. I am currently helping my fiance report his mom to CPS. He no longer lives at home but his half sister who is 13 still lives at home. Their mom drinks from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to bed, lost her license due to multiple DUIs and she smokes a lot of weed. His sister is at the age where she really needs a mom and doesn’t have one, I am the closest thing she has to a mom. She threatened to commit suicide when she was in 6th grade because her mom made her feel so terrible about herself. As soon as we both realized how bad the situation was I talked to a friend of mine who is a social worker and together we all devised a plan. When we call CPS and report the drug and alcohol abuse they will remove the mom from the house and force her into
