Are you able to distinguish between secular Jews, religious Jews, Zionists, and Israelis?
My maternal grandad was from a secular Jewish family. My Dad was from a secular Jewish family. When all this ‘debate’ on here first surfaced i spent a lot of time clarifying the differences to people who should have known better. Since observing the ignorance and hate filled posts since Christmas I’ve come to the conclusion that there is racism, intolerance, bigotry, xenophobia in all its ugly guises directed at all colours, faiths backgrounds ..whatever. But Antisemitism seems to stand alone as something else entirely. I find it horrifying and fascinating all at the same time.. It’s not that people don’t know…they don’t want to know.Far easier to hate than understand. I’m not commenting on my own personal take on the situation in Israel I’ve done that and tried to plead the case of the many Jews who do not support Israeli action…no one wanted to listen.
