Are you a guitarist who became a luthier, or a luthier who became a guitarist?

As a guitar player, I love all kinds of music and I try to play in several styles. As a luthier, I was taught to build electric guitars by Pavel De la Fuente, and my motivation to learn to make classical guitars was through Jose Yacopi (1916-2006). 2) CG: When did you first meet Jose Yacopi? What kinds of things did you learn from him? *** NG: Jose Yacopi was one of the most respected luthiers in Argentina and I had always wanted to own one of his guitars.
